HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.— Kmart Holding Corporation has named Excess Space Retail Services, Inc., a leading specialist in real estate disposition and lease restructuring for retailers nationwide, to handle the disposition of 20 vacant former food market locations and 10 vacant in-line spaces in Kmart owned shopping centers encompassing over 400,000 square feet in total. The exclusive contract covers selected real estate holdings in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Heading this real estate disposition assignment will be Howard Goldfarb, Executive Vice President of Excess Space, from the firm’s East Coast office in Lake Success, New York.
